NAPHAD 20th General Assembly Meeting
NAPHAD is an indigenous non-profit making civil society organization established by 37 PLHIV Associations on April 08/2005 and re-registered by the new charity law on 22 July 2019. Currently there are 163 PLHIV Associations with a total of 68,240 members and Implements its program in all zones with its presence in all woredas. The structure of NAPHAD consists of three bodies; General Assembly, Executive Board and the Executive management in which the general assembly is supreme governing body of the organization which consists of representative of PLHIV Associations and other important influential persons.
Now, NAPHAD conducts its 20th general assembly meeting on March 21/2025 at Bahir Dar Fidel Hotel with the participation of general assembly members and other key stakeholders. The agenda of this meeting was review and approval of FY24 annual performance report, audit report and FY25 annual plan of the organizations. After the presentation of reports and annual plan a detail discussion held among the participants for further clarification & understanding and appreciated a remarkable achievements observed in this challenging period. Besides, they approved annual performance reports, audit reports and annual plan of the organization. Lastly, recognition certificate also awarded to those NEP+ invited guests contributed for national and regional HIV prevention response.
